Sniester 2020 line up

Alas! No festivals this summer. Sniester 2020 too had to be cancelled due to measures taken concerning the Corona virus. Cancelling hurts us a lot, of course, but we do so with much respect for the Dutch Public Health Service and the many people working hard to keep everyone safe and healthy.

Already bought a ticket to Sniester? We’ll get in touch with you via e-mail and are currently sorting out refunds and other options.

We hope to see all of you, and as many bands as possible on the line-up above on May 28th & 29th 2021. Let’s make this edition hit twice as hard!

About Sniester

Every year thousands of music aficionados, Dutch and from abroad, find their way to Sniester festival, attracted by the good vibes and energetic, international line-up. Sniester Festival is a beloved city music event that marks the start of the summer festival season for The Hague. For 2 days, the heart of the city is buzzing with sonic fireworks on several stages in The Hagues Popdistrict. Participating locations are among others Paard, de Zwarte Ruiter, Bleyenberg and Het Magazijn.

At Sniester, you can expect the unexpected – genre is unimportant, quality, originality and authentic energy rule supreme. From the outset on Day 1, Sniesters goal and intent was to be a stage for ‘one of a kind’ live acts. Sniester celebrates the unique, the compelling and the brave: artists with an elusive energy that announces to their audience that something special will happen at each show. This may be a popular artist or a new band, it might be a tear-jerking rendition of beautiful acoustic melodies on guitar, a hip-hop duo that builds a state of ecstasy, or a death metal band with two destructive drummers. Plan to be surprised.

Sniester Sunday is the realm to Sniester Junior: the free festival day for children, where they can participate in shenanigans that would never be permitted on any other day of the year. Stagediving, playing electric guitar on full volume, having your hair dyed and even getting your first (fake) piercing or tattoo – anything goes on Sniester Junior. Parents can crash on the terrace (nursing a potential hangover) while the kids take center stage.
